  1. All Gone

Back in 2004 I had to move back to the Midlands from my time living in London. It felt like the end of the musical road. This is one of my most personal songs. Written in an outpouring of distress it soon changed my mind about giving up on the dream, so it still goes on. It's a pop/rock track in the vein of Robbie Williams and Take That. This is the studio recording for the album 'Through The Mirror' a collection of Tim's tracks that is presently in production.

Lyrics

I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA MAKE IT
I THOUGHT THAT I COULD FLY
BUT THE DREAMS HAVE LEFT WITHOUT ME
AND I’M KISSING THEM GOODBYE
I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EASY
JUST TO MAKE MYSELF A BUCK
I GOT IN THE QUEUE FOR TALENT
BUT I MISSED THE ONE FOR LUCK
NOW IT’S ALL GONE IT WAS AN ILLUSION
NOBODY KNOWS MY NAME
AND I’M SO TIRED OF STILL LOSING
THEY’VE TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
PEOPLE ALWAYS TOLD ME
THERE’D BE NEON IN MY NAME
BUT THE THEATRE NEVER OPENS
AND THE LIGHTS ARE ALL THE SAME
YOU SEE THE DOORS ARE ALWAYS CLOSED HERE
IF YOU’RE NOT IN THE INDUSTRY
YOU SPEND YOUR LIFE BELIEVING
BUT IT’S NOT YOUR DESTINY
NOW IT’S ALL GONE IT WAS AN ILLUSION
NOBODY KNOWS MY NAME
AND I’M SO TIRED OF STILL LOSING
THEY’VE TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
MAYBE I’LL BE VAN GOGH
MAYBE I’LL NEVER KNOW
BUT THE TIME HAS COME TO LIFE MY LIFE
AND IT’S ALL GONE IT WAS AN ILLUSION
NOBODY KNOWS MY NAME
AND I’M SO TIRED OF STILL LOSING
THEY’VE TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
ALL GONE IT WAS AN ILLUSION
NOBODY KNOWS MY NAME
AND I’M SO TIRED OF STILL LOSING
THEY’VE TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
TAKEN MY DREAMS AWAY
